Jamie graduated from Oberlin College with a bachelor's degree in English and, in 2011, from Stanford University with a master's degree in journalism. She has reported on city government and written features for newspapers in Georgia and Utah. She was news editor for the Oberlin Review and also gained experience as a news writer through internships with the Boston Phoenix, California Watch and The Bay Citizen. In addition, Jamie spent a year freelancing and has published in places like Sierra Magazine, Motorcycle USA, the High Country News and the New York Times. Originally from Georgia, Jamie is excited to get to know Petaluma.
