Cruisin’ the Boulevard president John Furrer is the first to try out the new Stryker Power Lift cot that the organization donated to the Petaluma Fire Department.
Standing from left are Mac Thompson, Pennylee Christensen, Joetta Furrer and Wayne Van Patten. In addition to the $15,000 cot, the group donated $1,000 to the police department’s bicycle safety program.
Last year, Cruisin’ the Boulevard donated automated external defribrillators to three local high schools and the police department for its patrol cars.
