RE: Link
I don't understand how dempseys always seems to win best burger, their burger is really not that great. 4th and seas is much better not to mention others that are superior here in town. Think dempseys owners and employees must have a lot of friends.

I disagree. In a town with tons of burger joints, Dempsey's burgers are heads above (as is the rest of their food). Better meat, better handling, perfect doneness (if you like your burger cooked past medium then you don't like hamburgers). Also the best fries and yummy homemade pickles. I just wish they were still making their own ketchup. I'd rate Blu second and Flipper's third - try them if you haven't. 4th & C isn't bad but the execution leaves a bit to be desired. It's definitely improved recently, as has the Walnut Park Grill (the old Quinley's).

Maybe I'll give demseys another chance. I was dissapointed so many times by what I got for my money their, I haven't been there for years. Maybe all the new competition since than has made their burgers better.

It may or may not be your "style". Be prepared for a fat patty, more puck than pancake, ideally with plenty of pink on the inside. Dang, now I'm hungry again.

First of all - I just want to thank everyone who voted for Powell's Sweet Shoppe for Best Ice Cream for the second year. Thank You!
I have to agree with Town - fresh ingredients help as well, their lettuce and tomatoes are fresh and make their burger even better.Congratulations to ALL the winners.

No that's my style, gonna try them again. My bad experiences included well done, dry burgers. Mind you this was many years ago.

Dempsey's is overated and overpriced.
The beer is good but I rarely eat there.
Just my .02

Good cuz that place gets crowded! All those people patronizing the place must be fools.
Looking forward to al fresco dining if this gloom ever burns off...

I haven't been there for a while, also not thrilled. Last time we were there we ended up with a "whoopsie"!! <3

Kohl's really?????
Kohl's stinks ~ I'd rather buys clothes anywhere else and their quality is poor for the price!
I concur on the vote for Heebe Jeebe's and the Himalayan Kabob place. OSH for garden supplies? NO NO NO Evermay is far superior!
