Inadequate roadway

Editor: The Argus-Courier’s Oct. 15 editorial on the beginnings of work on the Narrows included one inaccuracy: No way is this a “seven-mile stretch of four-lane freeway.” Oh, that it were!

Things would be immensely better today if this inadequate roadway met freeway standards, but it doesn’t. Freeways, as you know, don’t have all the cross-traffic and side roads entering directly that this stretch of 101 does. Maybe soon.
