Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently.
Further information on some cases was not immediately available and is indicated by the acronym INA (information not available). The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are later found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.
MONDAY, OCT. 26
9:48 a.m. — Police received the report of a burglary on East Washington Street. INA
10:57 a.m. — A 17-year-old Petaluma girl was arrested for domestic violence and resisting a police officer.
12:39 p.m. — Police took a report of a child abuse. INA
1:37 p.m. — An ambulance was dispatched for a vehicle accident on Corona Road at Industrial Avenue.
3:36 p.m. — A burglary occurred on Berrydale Drive. INA
4:50 p.m. — A 56-year-old Petaluma woman was cited on Lakeville Street for shoplifting.
5:43 p.m. — Police responded to a minor-injury traffic accident on East Madison Street at Sonoma Mountain Parkway.
8:21 p.m. — A vehicle was stolen from East Washington Street.
SUNDAY, OCT. 25
1:31 a.m. — A vandalism was discovered on Western Avenue. INA.
11:26 a.m. — Police received a report of a petty theft on Caulfield Lane. INA.
11:38 a.m. — Police took a report of a vehicle burglary. INA.
11:46 a.m. — A burglary and vandalism occurred on Crinella Drive. INA.
1:56 p.m. — Melito Q. Flores, 28, of Petaluma was arrested for false imprisonment, domestic violence and on a misdemeanor warrant.
SATURDAY, OCT. 24
12:22 a.m. — Police received a report of a fight on Kentucky Street. INA.
12:39 a.m. — A 17-year-old Petaluma boy was arrested on Petaluma Boulevard North at Washington Street for being a minor with a blood alcohol level of more than 0.05 while operating a motor vehicle.
12:54 a.m. — Humberto C. Lopez, 21, of 1700 Chehalis Drive was arrested on Lauren Drive at Maria Drive for carrying a concealed dirk or dagger.
2 a.m. — Gerald M. Luff, 43, of 122 Grevilla Drive was arrested on Fifth Street at B Street for DUI.
3:06 a.m. — Police received a report of a spousal injury. INA.
6:57 p.m. — Margaret J. Moldenhauer, 41, of 1052 McNear Ave. was arrested on McNear Avenue for DUI, violation of probation and driving with a suspended license.
FRIDAY, OCT. 23
12:09 a.m. — Donald D. Akins, 40, of 1254 Lindberg Lane was arrested on the northbound West Railroad Avenue off-ramp for possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.
10:44 a.m. — Police received a report of a vehicle stolen from Berrydale Drive. INA.
4:44 p.m. — A vandalism was discovered on Lindberg Lane. INA.
5:20 p.m. — Zachary J. Wise, 27, and Siri Hanja, 23, both of Boyes Hot Springs were arrested at their residence for possession of narcotics.
6:42 p.m. — Police took a report of a petty theft on Lakeville Street. INA.
10:57 p.m. — A petty theft occurred on South McDowell Boulevard. INA.
THURSDAY, OCT. 22
7:49 a.m. — Police received a report of a child abuse. INA.
8:30 a.m. — Police took a report of a child abuse. INA.
8:43 a.m. — A vehicle burglary occurred on North McDowell Boulevard at Old Redwood Highway, INA.
12:54 p.m. — A 17-year-old Petaluma girl was arrested on Westridge Drive for assault with a deadly weapon.
2 p.m. — Police investigated a felony hit and run on Petaluma Boulevard North at Water Street.
3:01 p.m. — A minor injury traffic accident on Lakeville Street was reported.
3:14 p.m. — Police received a report of a child molestation. INA.
WEDNESDAY, OCT. 21
7:10 a.m. — A vandalism was discovered on South McDowell Boulevard. INA.
10:17 a.m. — Police received a report from a resident on Garfield Drive of a fraud. INA.
10:54 a.m. — An ambulance was dispatched for a traffic accident on West Payran Street at Petaluma Boulevard North.
11:16 a.m. — Police took a report of a grand theft on Chardonnay Circle. INA.
1:22 p.m. — Katie L. Parker, 23, of 1190 Liberty Road was arrested on South McDowell Boulevard for forgery and fraud.
4:44 p.m. — Police investigated a report of a fraud on Technology Lane.
5:04 p.m. — A 34-year-old Santa Rosa man was arrested on North McDowell Boulevard for petty theft and misdemeanor violation of probation.
6:42 p.m. — Graffiti was discovered on Williams Drive. INA.
7:03 p.m. — Marcos C. Allain, 29, of Cazadero was arrested on Redwood Highway for possession of marijuana for sale, possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. Courtney C. Smith, 37, of Guerneville was arrested for giving a false identification to police officer and on two misdemeanor warrants.
9:01 p.m. — A petty theft occurred on Keokuk Street. INA.
TUESDAY, OCT. 20
11:58 a.m. — Police responded to a minor-injury traffic accident on South McDowell Boulevard at McGregor Avenue.
4:09 p.m. — A 23-year-old Petaluma man was cited for vandalism on Lynch Creek Way.
6:05 p.m. — Victor Martinez Ramirez, 25, of Santa Rosa was arrested on Burlington Drive for felony possession of narcotics.
6:40 p.m. — Marc A. Negrete, 35, was arrested on East Washington Street for battery, public intoxication and felony parole violation.
10:26 p.m. — Police took a report of a domestic violence incident. INA.
11:01 p.m. — Michelle R. Bandel, 32, of Fort Bragg was arrested on Redwood Highway for possession of marijuana for sale and on a misdemeanor warrant.
