Mary Maxine Rardin

<p>A funeral service for Mary Maxine Rardin will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Mrs. Rardin died on Oct. 28, 2009 at the age of 91.</p><!-- Nothing to do. The paragraph has already been output --><p>Before moving to Petaluma in 1960, Mrs. Rardin and her husband, Charles, lived on a farm in Columbus, Kansas. </p><p>She was active at Adobe Christian Center, serving as a board member, treasurer, mentor and teacher. Additionally, the Rardin’s regularly opened their home to minister to missionaries and pastors for home cooking and hospitality.</p><p>She is survived by her children, Kathryn Marie Baldes of Petaluma and Carol Ann Hoxie of Burney; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Ernest Rardin.</p><p>A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6.</p>
