The five-seat bike that a very fit family is pedaling from Kentucky to Alaska will roll through Santa Rosa Thursday.

Bill Harrison, who's taking the great adventure with his wife and three young daughters, said from Petaluma on Wednesday that they're all looking forward to accepting an offer of a sleepover tonight at Safari West, northwest of Santa Rosa.

Bill and his family were loving Sonoma County even before Bob Padecky's story on them Monday brought a flood of encouragement and donations.

"The response has been flabbergasting," said Bill.

If you pass him and his wife, Amarins, and Cheyenne, Jasmine and Robin on their long, yellow bicycle, wave -- and give 'em plenty of room.
