Mendocino County deputies were attempting to arrest a woman in a domestic violence case when she began resisting and two other women jumped into the scene and began assaulting deputies, officials reported Tuesday.

One deputy was injured in the incident late Sunday night, reported officials.

The initial altercation occurred at a coastal Westport residence on Seaview Drive. Deputies were called to the home at about 11:05 p.m.

After investigating, they began to arrest Cicely Kishbaugh, 27 of Westport, suspecting she had assaulted her boyfriend, officials said.

The two other women then interfered with the arrest. After getting everyone under control, the deputies arrested Kishbaugh on suspicion of domestic battery and obstructing officers.

They also arrested Alexandra Freeman, 25, of Fort Bragg and Shari Marchesi, 51, of Eureka on suspicion of obstructing officers.

The three women were taken to the Mendocino County Jail.

The injured deputy was treated for an undisclosed injury at Mendocino Coast District Hospital.
