A motorcyclist speeding at about 70 mph was injured Monday after crashing on a rural road west of Two Rock, CHP officials said.

Logan Pinasco, 25, of Elk Grove crashed at about 3:45 p.m. on Tomales-Petaluma Road near Chileno Valley Road, CHP Officer David Spencer said.

Pinasco told officers he was traveling at about 70 mph. The posted speed limit is 55 mph.

The road was "straight flat and level," Spencer said. "He lost control."

Pinasco was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with injuries that appeared to be minor, Spencer said.
