Helped by a $5,000 donation in materials from Friedman’s, a project to bring new dugouts to the Petaluma High School baseball diamond is nearing completion. Volunteers who helped make the project possible includee Ryan Breakstone, Steve DeJong from Friedman’s, Dante DelPrete, Petaluma baseball coach Paul Cochrun, Barry Murrin, C. Hardy, Eric Machado and Pat Nelson. Builders estimate that the project could have cost the school district as much as $60,000 if not done by volunteers and donated materials.
