Due to weather, the Holiday Open House will not be held on Dec. 1 as originally planned. It has been postponed one week to Saturday, Dec. 8.

Petaluma's downtown merchants host the annual Holiday Open House from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8.

Participating downtown stores will be offering hot cider, hors d'oeuvres, events, raffles, sales and other treats. There will also be carolers and horse and carriage rides from noon to 4 p.m. in Helen Putnam Plaza. Rides are free for kids 12 and under and $5 for adults.

Santa Claus will be available for pictures during the open house, and every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Dec. 23 at the Landmark Building, 35 Petaluma Blvd. North.
