Windy, rainy conditions doused power to homes and businesses around Sonoma County on Wednesday, including about 700 customers in Sebastopol who were out at one point, a PG&E spokeswoman said.
Outages also affected about 95 customers in Petaluma, 40 customers in Sonoma and 22 customers in Valley Ford, spokeswoman Brittany McKannay said.
“We have a number of crews who have been on standby and on call to address these, because we had anticipated that we would be having weather-related outages today, so we have all of our crews on deck,” McKannay said.
Most of the problems occurred after 8 a.m., though some Sebastopol residents lost power as early as about 5 a.m.
Power had been restored to all but 130 Sebastopol customers by 9:15 a.m., McKannay said.
