Penngrove native Gladys McIntosh Myles owned and operated Penngrove Hay and Grain with her husband, George Myles, for nearly 20 years.
A member of Petaluma High School's class of 1942, Mrs. Myles died at her Penngrove home on Nov. 16, 2012. She was 90.
Mrs. Myles was born on the family property in Penngrove. She lived on that property for the past 52 years.
She and her husband started Penngrove Hay and Grain in 1969 and ran it until 1985.
Mrs. Myles is survived by her children, Andy Myles and Margaret Shepherd, both of Penngrove; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George Myles.
A celebration of life will be held at the family home from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 8. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice by the Bay, 17 E. Sir Francis Drake Blvd., Suite 100, Larkspur 94939.
