Orville Larry Creech Sr.

<p>An avid local sports fan and umpire, Orville Larry Creech Sr. was the self-proclaimed “humble country boy” who was known to creatively voice his opinion from the stands.</p><p>Mr. Creech died at his home in Smithfield, Utah on Nov. 24, 2012 at the age of 72.</p><p>Born in Atkinson, Kan., Mr. Creech was a longtime Petaluma resident. He could be seen wearing his trademark cowboy hat and boots at Casa Grande and Petaluma High School sporting events since the 1980s.</p><p>He is survived by his wife, Dianne; children Kristi, Donna, Larry Jr., Randy and Kathy; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Joann.</p><p>Memorial services were held in Utah.</p>
