Small earthquake shakes The Geysers

An earthquake rattled The Geysers area early Tuesday, with a shake registering a magnitude of 3.1, reported the U.S. Geological Survey.
The 7:22 a.m. quake was located two miles southwest of Anderson Springs and five miles southeast of The Geyser.
It was just under one mile in depth.
Small earthquakes such as this one are very common in the area, which runs along the Sonoma and Lake county border.
