Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are later found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.
Monday, January 7
8:10 a.m. — Felony vandalism was reported on Petaluma Boulevard North.
2:58 p.m. — Fraud was reported on Alma Court.
3:48 p.m. — Vandalism was reported on F Street at Petaluma Boulevard South.
Sunday, January 6
1:18 a.m. — Christopher A. Bringel, 37, of Petaluma was arrested on 5th Street at I Street on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI. He was arrested and booked into jail.
3:16 p.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on Lakeville Street.
3:17 p.m. — Narcotic activity was reported on Oxford Court at Windsor Drive. Officers were unable to locate any suspects upon arrival.
7:37 p.m. — Adrian Diaz-Vasquez, 28, of Petaluma was arrested on Adobe Road at Corona Road on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and driving without a license. He was arrested and booked in to jail.
9:34 p.m. — A misdemeanor battery on a person was reported on Maria Drive at Monroe Street.
10:18 p.m. — Shawn M. Hall, 34, of Petaluma was arrested on Caulfield Lane at Lakeville Street on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI. He was arrested and booked into jail.
Saturday, January 5
10:30 a.m. — Fraud was reported on Debra Drive.
10:34 p.m. — Ruben Alvarex-Hernandez, 36, of Petaluma was arrested in the 400 block of 7th Street on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and driving while unlicensed. He was arrested and booked into jail.
Friday, January 4
1:39 a.m. – Battery was reported on Kentucky Street.
9:50 a.m. — Petty theft from a building was reported on Edith Street.
12:32 p.m. — Fraud was reported on San Rafael Drive.
2:27 p.m. — Fraud was reported on Candlewood Drive.
3:29 p.m. — Petty theft was reported on East Washington Street.
Thursday, January 3
10:33 a.m. — Grand theft from a building was reported on Mari Lane.
1:46 p.m. — Two 17-year-old juvenile females of Petaluma were arrested in the 1300 block of North McDowell Boulevard on suspicion of petty theft. Both were released on citations to appear in court.
3:34 p.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on Highway 101 South at Petaluma Boulevard North.
4:14 p.m. — Fraud was reported on North McDowell Boulevard.
6:05 p.m. — Fraud was reported on Vallejo Street.
7:57 p.m. — Narcotic Activity was reported on Lakeville Circle. Officers were unable to locate any suspects
