Petaluma dentist offering free exams for children

<p>Petaluma Dental Group is offering free dental care for uninsured children next month.</p><p>The group's “Give Kids a Smile Day” will be held on Feb. 9 at its Petaluma office.</p><p>Dentists and other providers are volunteering their services to provide dental screenings, treatments and education to uninsured children between the ages of 3 and 18.</p><p>Petaluma Dental Group owner Dr. Yolanda Mangrum has participated in the American Dental Association's program for the last 12 years in an effort to provide dental care to children whose families might not otherwise be able to afford treatment.</p><p>Appointments are required: 639-8800.</p>
