Lake County sheriff's officials Wednesday issued a plea for help finding the killer of a Kelseyville gas station clerk, shot during a robbery five days ago.
There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man who shot Forrest Seagrave.
The description of the robber is vague: about 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11, with a thin build. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, gloves and a mask obscuring his face.
Seagrave, 33, was working at the Mount Konocti Gas and Mart in Kelseyville at about 10:45 p.m. Friday when a masked robber demanded money. One clerk complied with the demand, but the gunman shot Seagrave, who stood nearby, sheriff's officials reported.
Seagrave was taken to Sutter Lakeside Hospital, where he died.
Officials asked anyone who can help identify the man to contact the Sheriff's Office at 263-2690.
