Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are later found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.
Monday, January 14
9:10 a.m. — Tatiana Williams, 28, of Marin City was arrested at the Marin County Jail on suspicion of two counts of felony grand theft and a misdemeanor violation of probation.
Sunday, January 13
1:06 p.m. — Daniel R. Lemos Jr., 19, of Petaluma was arrested on South McDowell Boulevard on suspicion of felony false imprisonment and misdemeanor domestic violence battery.
10:17 a.m. — Felony burglary was reported on Clegg Court.
11:30 a.m. — Grand theft was reported on B Street.
Saturday, January 12
2:00 a.m. — Marie H. Millar, 25, of Rohnert Park was arrested at the Highway 101 Old Redwood Highway on-ramp on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI.
Friday, January 11
2:45 a.m. — During a traffic stop, Mark S. Valdez, 29, and Jason M. Remel, 32, of Petaluma were arrested on Rocca Drive at Woodworth Way on suspicion of felony possession of controlled narcotic substances and misdemeanor charges of possession drug paraphernalia. Both men were arrested and booked into county jail.
10:15 a.m. — Felony burglary was reported at the 7-Eleven on D Street at Petaluma Boulevard South after a man stole three rolls of lottery tickets and left the store. He later returned and cashed three of the stolen tickets.
Wednesday, January 9
1:06 p.m. — Vandalism was reported on Fair Street.
2:17 p.m. — A burglary was reported on East Madison Street.
5:03 p.m. — A felony burglary was reported on Clydesdale Way.
Tuesday, January 8
3:24 p.m. — Theft of vehicle parts was reported on Lakeville Street.
