A man and woman in a car seen leaving a Petaluma PG&E yard early Monday morning turned out to be suspected burglars, Petaluma police said.
Officers were called to the Corona Road yard at 12:07 a.m. for a possible burglary, Sgt. Andrew Urton reported.
Arriving officers stopped the car and inside found burglary tools and PG&E property, Urton said.
Scott Franklin, 48, and Megan Figueroa, 31, both of Petaluma, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and possessing stolen property and burglary tools. Figueroa also was arrested on a probation violation, Urton said.
