Cinnabar Theater presents a 40th anniversary event, "Musical Gift Box," a series of seven concerts with cabaret-style seating, over two weekends from Feb. 1 to Feb. 10.

The series features a variety of musical genres including country, blues, flamenco, classical, jazz and “The Great Broadway Sing-Along,” a fun evening of participation featuring classic Broadway tunes.
Musical artists include Mary Gannon-Graham performing the music of Patsy Cline; Swing Fever with Denise Perrier performing Big Band, swing and tunes from the American Songbook; and a dinner concert with Due Zighi Baci, featuring tenor Michael Van Why and accordionist Sheri Mignano performing French cafe music.
The Cinnabar Theater Musical Gift Box Series is underwritten by Michel Snethlage and Barbara Howell.

8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1: Patsy and the Bobcats
Patsy Cline chart toppers, plus other classic country classics, performed by the incomparable Mary Gannon-Graham and the band that backed her up in critically acclaimed North Bay productions of “Always, Patsy Cline.”
8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2: Swing Fever with Denise Perrier
Swing Fever, one of the Bay Area’s premiere swing bands with Denise Perrier, perform Big Band, Swing and American Songbook favorites originally by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, George Gershwin and Cole Porter.
5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3: The Alphabet Players
The Alphabet Players perform beautiful chamber music from the 18th century including baroque and budding romantics.
7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7: Sol Flamenco “Viva España”
The passion and fire of Spain hits the Cinnabar stage for an evening of lightning fast footwork, haunting guitar rhythms and soulful singing. Featuring guitarist Mark Taylor.
8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8: The Great Broadway Sing-Along
A special concert event where audience members participate in belting out their favorite show tunes. A talented cast and musicians will lead the audience through a songbook of Broadway classics by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Sondheim, Lerner and Loewe, Kander and Ebb and more.
8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9: Blues/Gospel Tammy Hall & Valerie Joi
Pianist and composer Tammy Hall with vocalist Valerie Joi perform a variety of blues and gospel compositions, arrangements and improvisations and pieces from Tammy’s new CD “Blue Soul.”
6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10: French Dinner Concert
Due Zighi Baci presents “La vie en Rose: A Taste of Paris”
Dinner served at 6 p.m. followed by concert at 7 p.m.
The evening begins with a French dinner of roast tarragon chicken and rosemary potatoes and dessert of apple torte and creme fraiche. Tenor Michael Van Why and accordionist Sheri Mignano entertain with authentic songs of the great French cafe tradition, including the songs of Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Jaques Brel and more. Dinner and Concert: $35 / Concert only $15. Dinner reservations must be received by no later than 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013.
