Covelo man hurt in fist fight two weeks ago dies

A Covelo man injured in a fist fight at a grocery store two weeks ago has died, according to the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office.
Kevin Harlan died in a Hospital on Friday, deputies said Tuesday.
Harlan had been involved in a fight Jan. 20 with Samuel Franco at Keith's Market, in which Harlan reportedly slapped Franco on the head.
According to deputies, Franco punched Harlan in the head in return, and Harlan fell to the floor unconscious.
Harlan came to and was arrested on suspicion of battery, and he was later hospitalized, deputies said. Harlan was recovering in the hospital when he suffered another medical emergency and died, they said.
