Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are later found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.
Monday, February 4
8:15 a.m. — A vehicle was reported stolen on C Street.
12:11 p.m. — Aimee Hammock, 36, of Petaluma was arrested on Corona Road at Sonoma Mountain Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and driving on a suspended license. She was also cited for no proof of insurance.
12:27 p.m. — Vandalism was reported on Howard Street.
3:22 p.m. — Vandalism was reported on Dana Street at Fair Street.
7:40 p.m. — Darren E. Berry, 55, and Robert M. Berry, 66, of Petaluma were arrested in the 900 block of Lakeville Street on suspicion of felony burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime. They were arrested and booked into county jail.
7:48 p.m. — Ashley L. Fuesz, 20, of Santa Rosa was arrested in the 1300 block of North McDowell Boulevard on suspicion of felony burglary and violation of probation and misdemeanor providing false identification to peace officers.
Sunday, February 3
10:27 a.m. — Vandalism was reported on Lakeville Highway.
8:53 p.m. — Jarrod R. Rupiper, 26, of Santa Rosa was arrested on Garfield Drive at Weatherby Way for misdemeanor DUI charges and driving while on a suspended license. He was arrested and booked into jail.
9:52 p.m. — Ryan J. Castro, 25, of Petaluma was arrested on Lakeville Circle for felony robbery and misdemeanor false imprisonment, battery domestic violence and vandalism. 11:53 p.m. — Douglas Castaneda, 28, of San Rafael was arrested on North Napa Drive at Sonoma Drive for felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Saturday, February 2
2:11 a.m. — Battery was reported on Petaluma Boulevard North.
8:59 a.m. — Graffiti was reported on Howard Street.
9:27 a.m. — Burglary from a vehicle was reported on Eastwood Drive.
1:23 p.m. — Grand Theft was reported on Maria Drive.
11:15 p.m. — Luis F. Castillo-Guido, 23, of Sonoma was arrested on Adobe Road at Casa Grande Road on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and driving while unlicensed. He was also cited for excessive speed.
11:23 p.m. — Grand theft was reported on Baywood Drive.
Friday, February 1
12:45 a.m. — Burglary from a vehicle was reported on B Street.
9:01 a.m. — Fraud was reported on Cedarwood Lane.
9:25 a.m. — Vandalism was reported on Freedom Lane North.
2:02 p.m. — Fraud was reported on Sonoma Mountain Parkway.
Wednesday, January 30
1:06 p.m. — Vandalism was reported on Baywood Drive.
3:19 p.m. — Petty theft was reported on Warren Drive.
6:50 p.m. — Narcotic activity was reported on F Street.
Tuesday, January 29
2:50 p.m. — Matthew W. Azevedo, 44, of Petaluma was arrested on Webster Street on suspicion of felony attempting to prevent a witness from testifying and misdemeanor domestic violence battery.
10:48 a.m. — Battery was reported on Grouse Lane.
1:20 p.m. — Grand theft was reported on Sonoma Mountain Parkway.
3:06 p.m. — Rigoberto Cabrera Jr., 28, of Petaluma was arrested on Wood Sorrel Drive at Yarberry Drive on suspicion of felony possession of a weapon and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession a switchblade knife for illegal sale. The subject was arrested by police and booked into Sonoma County Jail.
4:49 p.m. — Petty theft was reported on North McDowell Boulevard.
5:18 p.m. — Marijuana distribution was reported on Cypress Drive.
5:22 p.m. — Fraud was reported on Auto Center Drive.
