Sonoma police and state Alcoholic Beverage Control agents cited three restaurant workers and their employers Friday night in a sting.

Police sent underage decoys into several businesses licensed to sell alcohol in the Sonoma Valley area to check compliance with alcohol sales laws, Sgt. Spencer Crum said.

Three businesses were cited on suspicion of selling alcohol to underage decoys: Round Table Pizza, HopMonk Tavern and Pizzeria Capri.

The employees who sold the alcohol were cited for suspicion of furnishing alcohol to minors, while the businesses will be referred to the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control for administrative license violations, Crum said.
