Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are later found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

Monday, April 1

10:37 a.m. — Felony commercial burglary was reported on North McDowell Boulevard.

12:13 p.m. — Narcotic activity was reported on Brody Place. Officers were unable to locate an suspects upon arrival.

2:36 p.m. — Graffiti was reported on Howard Street.

5:01 p.m. — Graffiti was reported on Park Avenue at Prospect Street.

Sunday, March 31

1:49 a.m. — Justin J. Flores, 23, of Rohnert Park was arrested in the 100 block of Kentucky Street on suspicion of misdemeanor assault and violation of probation.

10:44 a.m. — Commercial burglary and vandalism were reported on Industrial Avenue.

Saturday, March 30

7:19 a.m. — Charles R. Vangorder Jr., 56, of Santa Rosa was arrested in the 1000 block of Petaluma Boulevard North on suspicion of felony petty theft.

6:12 p.m. — Balwinder S. Gill, 52, of Windsor was arrested in the 900 block of East Washington Street on suspicion of misdemeanor furnishing alcohol to a minor during a Petaluma Police Department shouldertap operation using a minor decoy. Gill was released on a citation to appear in court.

6:55 p.m. — Theft from a motor vehicle was reported on Kingfish Court.

8:36 p.m. — Sami L. Gonterman, 21, of Cotati, was arrested in the 5100 block of Old Redwood highway on suspicion of misdemeanor furnishing tobacco to a minor during a Petaluma Police Department shouldertap operation using a minor deco. Gonterman was released on a citation to appear in court.

Friday, March 29

1:20 a.m. — Vandalism with property damage was reported on Canyon Drive at Mountaiview Avenue.

9:45 a.m. — Felony passing fictitious checks and fraud was reported on South McDowell Boulevard.

12:44 p.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on McNear Avenue.

10:01 p.m. — Matthew D. Walton, 31, of Oakland was arrested in the 400 block of East Washington Street on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI.

11:43 p.m. — Narcotic activity was reported on Rainier Circle.

Thursday, March 28

9:21 a.m. — Graffiti was reported on Mountainview Avenue.

11:03 a.m. — Narcotic activity was reported on Brompton Street.

2:54 p.m. — Graffiti was reported on Howard Street.

3:50 p.m. — Anthony D. Gloege, 20, of Petaluma was arrested on Perseus Court on suspicion of felony false imprisonment and misdemeanor domestic violence.

5:37 p.m. — Felony vandalism was reported on Industrial Avenue.

7:00 p.m. — Randy W. Belmont, 29, of Petaluma was arrested in the 1700 block of Brompton Street on suspicion of a felony parole violation.

10:38 p.m. — Diane W. Pratt, 37, of Petaluma was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI. She was released on a citation to appear in court.

Wednesday, March 27

11:40 a.m. — A 15-year-old female juvenile from Cotati was arrested on Kresky Way on suspicion of misdemeanor adult dependent cruelty and willful cruelty to a child. She was released on a citation to appear in court.

12:47 p.m. — Burglary was reported on South McDowell Boulevard.

8:05 p.m. — A 17-year-old male juvenile was arrested in the 200 block of North McDowell Boulevard on suspicion of felony embezzlement. He was arrested and booked into jail.
