Students from McNear Elementary School will be asking for treats for UNICEF this Halloween.
The campaign is the sixth-grade community service project of McNear friends Stephanie Cuneo-Mims, Juliet Maddox, Charlotte Pardue and Hannah Cordeiro.
The project directors have gone classroom-to-classroom at NcNear inviting all grades to join them in collecting funds for the organization that provides help to children around the globe.
The sixth-graders put together 300 UNICEF boxes they distributed to McNear students to help with their collections.
UNICEF provides immunizations, clean water and sanitation, nutrition, education and emergency relief for children around the world.
