Laughlin Road in Santa Rosa reopened early Friday afternoon after a delivery truck crashed into a bridge between River Road and Airport Boulevard, blocking the road for several hours.
Even after the truck was removed, county road workers had to repair the bridge, which was damaged in the crash, said Rob Silva, road operations manager for the county.
The truck ran into a 20-foot barrier, dragging it into the middle of the bridge, he said. It also damaged the guard rail.
The accident occurred at about 7:20 a.m.
