Petaluma police Tuesday arrested a 26-year-old Petaluma at the Sonoma County Courthouse for alleged burglary and possession of stolen property.
Jonathan Hesla is suspected of burglarizing a home on Shenandoah Court sometime between Feb. 7 and Feb. 9.
Police said they were able to identify Hesla from evidence discovered at the scene and other leads. A search warrant was served at his residence on Monday and police said they located property stolen during the burglary. Hesla was not present during the search of his residence.
Tuesday, detectives located Hesla at the Sonoma County Courthouse where he was attending to another matter. He was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County jail.
