Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus to have follow-up information published.

Tuesday, April 22

1:09 p.m. — Nicholas J. Duane, 21, of San Rafael, was arrested on North McDowell Boulevard for a felony warrant, a misdemeanor warrant and misdemeanor charges of providing false identification to an officer.

1:38 p.m. — Craig M. Simi, 49, of Petaluma, was cited for petty theft and a probation violation on the 200 block of Western Avenue.

5:12 p.m. — William H. Fegette, 49, a homeless man, was cited for vending on or near a freeway as he stood on the shoulder of the East Washington on-ramp to Highway 101.

8:06 p.m. — William J. Rector, 62, of Rohnert Park was arrested in the 1400 block of North McDowell Boulevard for battery.

8:44 p.m. — A 17-year-old Petaluma man was cited for shoplifting and being a minor in possession of alcohol on the 200 block of Western Avenue.

Monday, April 21

2:30 a.m. — Cristian O. Heredia, 19, of Santa Rosa, was arrested on McGregor Avenue for felony possession of metal knuckles and affiliating with a public street gang.

10:12 a.m. — Gerardo Salinas, 20, of Petaluma; Robert E. Nichols, 59, of Petaluma; Jennifer T. Garrett, 42, of Petaluma; and Kimberley Y. Hunt, 46, a homeless woman, were all cited for disorderly conduct and loitering on H Street at Petaluma Boulevard South.

8:33 p.m. — Kelly R. Diaz, 50, of Santa Rosa, was cited on Magnolia Avenue for being in possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

Sunday, April 20

2:06 a.m. — Rodney J. Vigil, 40, of Brentwood, was arrested for felony domestic violence assault on South McDowell Boulevard.

11:10 p.m. — Austin Stephenson, 18, of Penngrove, was arrested in the 300 block of South McDowell Boulevard for being a minor in possession of alcohol, an outside warrant and providing false identification to a police officer, all misdemeanor offenses.

Saturday. April 19

1:47 a.m. — Steven Magana, 18, of Novato, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a paraphernalia on Casa Verde Circle.

10:31 a.m. — Paul E. Palmer, 49, of Petaluma, was cited for disorderly conduct and loitering in the 1000 block of Industrial Avenue.

11:02 a.m. — Antonio S. Arreola, 51, of Petaluma was cited for trespassing and a probation violation on Shasta Avenue.

11:27 a.m. — Christopher G. Timm, 27, of Petaluma, was arrested on the 100 block of North McDowell Boulevard for a misdemeanor bench warrant and providing false identification to a police officer.

1:04 p.m. — Sarah A. Vestal, 56, of Petaluma, was arrested on felony charges of a domestic violence assault with injury and false imprisonment, and misdemeanor charges of willful cruelty to a child on Lindberg Circle.

Friday. April 18

5:15 a.m. — Jesse R. Pruett, Jr., 25, of Petaluma, was arrested for misdemeanor charges of obstructing justice, public intoxication and a probation violation in the 100 block of Magnolia Avenue.

1:08 p.m. — Gary R. Stewart, 59, of Rohnert Park, was arrested on Caulfield Lane for a felony bench warrant and misdemeanor charges of driving on a suspended license and providing false identification to a police officer.

Wednesday. April 16

7:27 p.m. — Jerramy S. Bowler, 24, was arrested in the 700 block of Brody Place for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription; possession of paraphernalia; four misdemeanor bench warrants and possession of a substance similar to toluene, a category of chemicals that can be inhaled to make a person intoxicated, such as paint thinner.
