Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus to have follow-up information published.
Tuesday, April 22
1:09 p.m. — Nicholas J. Duane, 21, of San Rafael, was arrested on North McDowell Boulevard for a felony warrant, a misdemeanor warrant and misdemeanor charges of providing false identification to an officer.
1:38 p.m. — Craig M. Simi, 49, of Petaluma, was cited for petty theft and a probation violation on the 200 block of Western Avenue.
5:12 p.m. — William H. Fegette, 49, a homeless man, was cited for vending on or near a freeway as he stood on the shoulder of the East Washington on-ramp to Highway 101.
8:06 p.m. — William J. Rector, 62, of Rohnert Park was arrested in the 1400 block of North McDowell Boulevard for battery.
8:44 p.m. — A 17-year-old Petaluma man was cited for shoplifting and being a minor in possession of alcohol on the 200 block of Western Avenue.
