NBL football all-stars shut out SCL

Dominating on both sides of the ball, the North Bay League defeated the Sonoma County League, 26-0, in the 40th annual Kiwanis All-Star football game Saturday night at Montgomery High School.

The NBL scored the only points it would need on its opening possession. Jacob Webb (Cardinal Newman) got his team going by returning a punt 44 yards.

Six plays later, Webb finished the drive by catching a 25-yard touchdown pass from Rancho Cotate's Michael Courchaine.

Courchaine threw a pass for the second score, an 18-yard strike to Rancho teammate Nick Reynolds.

That was at the 6:25 mark of the second quarter.
