The Petaluma Fire Department received 24 medical and 74 fire or other emergency calls from Jan. 7 through Jan. 13. Here are some of the incidents:
Tuesday, Jan. 8
12:39 p.m. — Units headed to Professional Drive at North McDowell Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving three cars in a southbound lane.
Thursday, Jan. 10
9:43 a.m. — Firefighters were called to Stony Point Road for a report of an accident between a car and a pedestrian. An adult male had been hit by a big rig when crossing an intersection on a bicycle. Firefighters found him alert and oriented but in pain. He was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
9:47 p.m. —Firefighters were called to Petaluma Boulevard North for a report of a man who had crashed his motorized bicycle. Medics found him on the side of the road near Stony Point Road. He was conscious and able to move without reported pain, but was confused as to where he was and what had happened. He was taken to Petaluma Valley Hospital.
Sunday, Jan. 13
5:44 p.m. — Units headed to 320 5th St. to address a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. One person was taken to Petaluma Valley Hospital.
