Commercial burglaries continue in Petaluma

A long string of commercial burglaries in Petaluma continued with three more reported during the holiday weekend, reported Petaluma police.

Sunday a burglar broke a glass window at about 3 a.m. to get into the Pick n Go Market on East Washington Street.

They removed a cash register, which still had money inside, reported Petaluma Lt. Tim Lyons.

Saturday morning burglaries were reported at St. John's Episcopal Church on Fifth Street and Hospice of Petaluma on Payran Street.

The burglar broke the front glass door of the Hospice business, using a piece of wood. Nothing appeared to have been taken, said Lyons.
