The Petaluma Fire Department received 37 medical and 67 fire or other emergency calls between Dec. 2 and Dec. 8. Here are some of the calls.
Tuesday, Dec. 3
6:25 a.m. — A tree fell into the roadway on Casa Grande Road at Allen Street.
Thursday, Dec. 5
12:30 p.m. — Firefighters headed to 1332 St. Francis Drive on report of smoke in the residence, but found it was just a normally operating fireplace that caused the scare.
Friday, Dec. 6
11:54 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a single vehicle accident on Valley Ford Road, where a car had rolled down an embankment. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle, but asked to be taken to the hospital for treatment. Medics transported him to Palm Drive Hospital.
