Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. Further information on some cases was not immediately available and is indicated by the acronym INA (information not available). The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are later found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

MONDAY, OCT. 24

1:46 p.m. — Police received the report of a fraud from a resident on Glenwood Drive. INA.

2:05 p.m. — Police took a report from a resident on Photinia Place of someone obtaining credit using stolen identification information.

6:10 p.m. — A vehicle tampering occurred on Seventh Street.

7:09 p.m. — There was a report from Fair Street of a petty theft.

8:40 p.m. — Police received a report of a petty theft on Adobe Creek Drive. INA.
