Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are later found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24

7:03 a.m. — Grand theft was reported on San Carlos Drive.

11:40 a.m. — Vandalism was reported on 5th Street.

12:19 .m. — Theft of vehicle parts was reported on San Marino Drive.

2:12 p.m. — Grand theft was reported on Marylyn Circle.

2:43 p.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on B Street.

2:52 p.m. — Burglary was reported on South McDowell Boulevard.

5:18 p.m. — Burglary was reported on Wilson Street.

7:03 p.m. — Fraud was reported on Cerro Sonoma Circle.

10:38 p.m. — Assault with a deadly weapon was reported n North McDowell Boulevard.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23

8:16 a.m. — John A. Lindt, 30, of Petaluma was arrested in the 600 block of Western Avenue for two counts of felony possession of a weapon and misdemeanor violation of probation. He was arrested and booked into county jail.

10:17 a.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported don Petaluma Boulevard South.

3:47 p.m. — Jason R. Freed, 39, of Petaluma was arrested on Weller Street for misdemeanor batter of a spouse.

5:12 p.m. — Narcotic activity was reported on East Washington Street.

8:10 p.m. — Burglary was reported on Coronado Drive.

9:41 p.m. — A prowler was reported on Maria Drive.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

7:36 p.m. — Daniel P. Linares, 18, of Petaluma, was cited in the 600 block of Ely Boulevard South for misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

9:03 a.m. — Felony graffiti was reported on D Street.

10:44 a.m. — Tampering with a vehicle was reported on San Jose Way.

11:28 a.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on South McDowell Boulevard.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21

1:25 p.m. — Fidel Bueno, 61, of Petaluma was arrested on Wood Sorrel Drive for misdemeanor battery on a spouse.

3:31 p.m. — Petty theft was reported on North McDowell Boulevard.

3:49 p.m. — Matthew C. Irving, 47, of Petaluma was arrested in the 800 block of Petaluma Boulevard North for felony attempted robbery.

5:18 p.m. — Vandalism was reported on Hinman Street.

6:37 p.m. — Narcotic activity was reported on Douglas Street at Fair Street. Police were unable to locate any suspects on arrival.

7:21 p.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on Grey Street at Water Street.

8:00 p.m. — Kevin J. Will, 19, of Petaluma was arrested in the 600 block of Maria Drive for misdemeanor threatening with an intent to terrorize.

11:49 p.m. — A shooting at a dwelling was reported on Joan Drive. Police took a report of felony vandalism.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 20

6:03 a.m. — Theft of vehicle parts was reported on St. Augustine Way.

9:22 a.m. —A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on Muir Court.

4:43 p.m. — Ryan S. Baker, 31, of Petaluma was cited in the 5300 block of Old Redwood Highway for misdemeanor furnishing alcohol to a minor and violating probation.

5:15 p.m. — Dan D. Penry, 30, of Santa Rosa, was cited in the 5100 block of Old Redwood Highway for misdemeanor furnishing tobacco to a minor and violation of probation.

5:45 p.m. — Claudia Soares, 42, of Petaluma, was cited on Maria Drive at East Washington Street for furnishing alcohol to a minor.

7:23 p.m. — Manoj K. Shrestha, 46, of Santa Rosa, was cited in the 800 block of Petaluma Boulevard North for misdemeanor furnishing tobacco to a minor.

7:40 p.m. — Mayank J. Patel, 24, of Petaluma, was cited for misdemeanor selling liquor to a minor.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19

2:28 a.m. — A prowler was reported on Kearny Street.

3:30 a.m. — Brendon M. Schiefer, 18, of Petaluma was arrested for felony attempted burglary and misdemeanor driving while unlicensed.

9:56 a.m. — Vehicle tampering was reported on Second Street.

3:27 p.m. — Petty theft of motor vehicle parts was reported on English Street.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

5:40 a.m. — Burglary was reported on Petaluma Boulevard North.

7:38 a.m. — Narcotic activity was reported on Petaluma Boulevard North. Police were unable to locate any suspects on arrival.

8:58 a.m. — Grand theft was reported on Putnam Way.

9:18 a.m. — Fraud was reported on Park Avenue.
