Cinnabar Theater presents Will Durst in the one-man stand-up comedy show "Elect to Laugh!" at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at Worthy of Love, 226 Petaluma Blvd. North.
Blending monologue, commentary and the occasional rant, Durst, a natural descendant of Mark Twain, George Carlin and Spalding Gray, is out to hit the hypocritical where its hurts the funniest.
For the last eighteen months, Durst has been following an American political process that has been called a circus wrapped inside a game show covered in poisonous weasel glitter.
No matter what side of the aisle you sit, everyone agrees this election season carnival has been a breathtaking side-show full of ethical acrobats, logic geeks and moral contortionists.
As a fount for material it has been an embarrassment of riches. Lush like a tropical rain forest. A cornucopia of delights.
Tickets are $15. Visit www.cinnabartheater.org or call 763-8920 for tickets.
