Police Log

Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are later found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 1

12:07 a.m. — Mark E. Martin, 19, of Petaluma, was arrested in the 100 block of Magnolia Avenue for misdemeanor DUI. He was released on a citation to appear.

9:46 a.m. — A juvenile was arrested on Riesling Road for possession a weapon on school rounds.

11:28 a.m. — Four juveniles, all 17 years old, were arrested in the 300 block of Casa Grande Road. Three were arrested on felony counts of possession of a weapon on school grounds and one for a misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana on school grounds. All were released to their parents on citations to appear in court.

6:52 p.m. — Vandalism as reported on Bassett Street.

6:56 p.m. — Petty theft was reported on Petaluma Boulevard North.
