Incentive to eat fresh

Beginning Nov. 20, any resident who uses a CalFresh EBT Card, or foodstamps, to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables at the Petaluma Eastside farmers market will receive an extra $10 incentive. The incentive program is the result of a collaboration between Petaluma People Services Center, Petaluma Health Care District, Kaiser, Petaluma Health Center, St. Joseph Health and Ladybug Connections.

The Eastside farmers market is Petaluma's first year-round market and is open from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Petaluma Community Center, 320 N. McDowell, Petaluma.
