A city all in lights

Looking for an inexpensive way to spend some fun holiday time with family or friends?

Residents will have the chance to see dozens of Petaluma homes and businesses decorated in holiday splendor as the annual City of Lights Driving Tour begins Saturday, Dec. 1 and continues through Dec. 27.

The self-guided tour features homes and businesses decked out to the hilt in lights and other festive decor.

The tour is also a contest, with each decorated home and business competing for first place in various categories. The theme this year is "From Petaluma with Love."

The public is invited to take the tour and vote for their favorite decorated home and business online at www.visitpetaluma.com.
