Hawaiian Luau set for Sept. 6

The Penngrove Social Firemen hold their annual Hawaiian Luau on Sept. 6 in Penngrove Park, 11800 Main St. in downtown Penngrove.|

The Penngrove Social Firemen hold their annual Hawaiian Luau on Sept. 6 in Penngrove Park, 11800 Main St. in downtown Penngrove.

The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour, followed by dinner at 6:30 featuring kalua pork, Hawaiian chicken, yams with coconut, rice, Asian salad and dessert. There will also be Hawaiian entertainment and a drawing for a vacation for two in Maui.

Tickets are available only in advance and are $25 for adults; $10 for children ages 6 to 12; and free for kids under age 5. All proceeds help the Penngrove Social Firemen maintain Penngrove Park and its club house.
