Emergency preparedness fair, Sept. 27

Boy Scout Troop 9 and Elim Lutheran Church host a community emergency preparedness fair.|

Boy Scout Troop 9 and Elim Lutheran Church host a community emergency preparedness fair from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 27 in the Deer Creek Village shopping center parking lot near Friedman’s Home Improvement, 429 N. McDowell Blvd.

The event features free hands-on demonstrations, including CPR, emergency survival camping and dutch oven cooking. There will also be survival preparedness equipment, gear, food, first aid kits and emergency survival kits available for purchase or order.

A free gift will be given to the first 100 families in attendance.

There will be refreshments for sale.
