Break out your pirate garb in celebration of Dread Pirate Roberts Day at Copperfield’s Books on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Actor, author Cary Elwes of “The Princess Bride” will be discussing his new book, “As You Wish: Inconceiveable Tales from the Making of ‘The Princess Bride’” at 7 p.m. at the Petaluma store, 140 Kentucky St.

An event pass will be giving with purchase of the book.

The evening will be moderated by Greg Sestero, “The Disaster Artist” (another cult film actor and author).
