Mentor Me hosts its 10th annual Mad Hatter Ball from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28 at the Mentor Me Cavanagh Recreation Center at 426 Eighth St.
In addition to the 10th anniversary of the “Alice in Wonderland” themed event, this year marks the first time Mentor Me will be hosting its fundraiser at its own location at the Cavanagh Rereation Center. Mentor Me moved into the center earlier this year.
Mentor Me is a nonprofit organization matching adult mentors with at-risk students in Petaluma schools.
The 2015 Mad Hatter Ball features music and dancing to The Grooveline, dinner, drinks and dancing. There will also be a hat contest, silent and live auctions and carnival games. The Mad Hatter Ball Hat Contest features prizes for “Best in Show” “Most Avant Garde Hat” “Best Mentee-Designed Hat” and “Maddest (Alice in Wonderland) Hat.” Judging takes place at the ball. Hat must be hand made to qualify for the contest.
Tickets to the Mad Hatter Ball are $100 and include dinner and drinks.
