Holiday season coat drive

Have a coat or jacket you don?t need anymore? Delco Builders is hosting a holiday season coat drive for homeless and at-risk men, women and children through Dec. 22.

The coat drive is in partnership with the national non-profit organization One Warm Coat and Petaluma?s Committee on the Shelterless.

Coats and jackets of all sizes and styles may be dropped off at the Southgate sales office, 1731 Calle Ranchero Drive. Office hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Celebrating the season of light

Religious Science of Petaluma celebrates the season of life with an interfaith service beginning at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 at the Senior Center, 211 Novak Drive.

Guest speaker is Ace Remas, resident teacher at Mahakaruna Buddhist Center.

Salvation Army needs bell ringers

It?s time for the annual Salvation Army kettle campaign and Petaluma?s Salvation Army is looking for volunteer bell ringers to take donations for the organization during the holiday season.

One hundred percent of the donations received in Petaluma bell ringer kettles stays in Petaluma.

Donate unwanted vehicles

Need to get rid of an old car? The Boys and Girls Clubs throughout California are asking for people to donate their unwanted vehicles to the organization in order to help fund local clubs.

The Circle offers support to seniors

Seniors needing supportive peers to share their everyday concerns with are invited to check out The Circle from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays at the Petaluma Senior Center, 211 Novak Drive. Cost is $10.
