YOUR WEEKEND JUNE 22-JUNE 25|

THURSDAY

Bluegrass and Bourbon

Brewster’s Beer Garden launches its new Thursday night ‘Bluegrass and Bourbon’ series, serving specialty bourbon cocktails alongside music by some of the finest bluegrass practitioners in Northern California and beyond. This week, it’s The Pine Needles, the acoustic Americana rule-breakers from San Francisco, who play an array of original bluegrass tunes and classics turned slightly backwards and upside-down. 229 Water St. 5 p.m. No Cover. FRIDAY

Barn Dance on River

The Evie Ladin Band will provide the tunes, but you and your friends provide the entertainment, as the annual old-fashioned barn dance do-si-does into the David Yearsley River Heritage Center for a night of high-spirited dancing, food, drink, and fun. The event is a fundraiser for Friends of the Petaluma River. Steamer Landing Park, corner of D and Copeland Streets. 6 p.m. $20. FriendsofthePetalumaRiver.com.

Lemme Adams

With a goal of being as weird and unforgettable on stage as possible, Bay Area surf-garage-rock band Lemme Adams (named for the band’s keyboardist-guitarist Jesse “Lemme” Adams) infuse their shows with spectacle, dance-making tunes, and a playful way with the audience, who are clearly this band’s primary focus of attention every time they play. The Big Easy, 128 American Alley. 8 pm. $5 cover. Bigeasypetaluma.com.

SATURDAY

Igor and the Red Elvises

Conceived as a traveling international Rock ‘n Roll party, Igor and the Red Elvises draw their high-energy, danger-tinged surf-inspired sound (and unpredictable onstage antics) from Igor Yuzov’s early experiences growing up in Soviet Russia, where folk-music was everywhere and playing Elvis Presley could land you in jail. That rebel-rocker attitude will be on conspicuous display when the band drops by The Mystic Theatre for a night of ear-pleasing, mind-boggling, adrenaline pumping joy. 21 Petaluma Blvd. N. 8:30 p.m. $15. Mystictheatre.com.

SUNDAY

One Grass Two Grass

As part of Twin Oaks Roadhouse’s Sunday Funday barbecue series, the fast-rising string band One Grass Two Grass plays its signature mix of hard and happy, furious and fun, old-time and new-time music artfully crafted to lift-spirits and inspire dancing. 5745 Old Redwood Hwy. 5:45 p.m. $10-$20.
