PETALUMA’S BESTSELLER BOOK LIST

The top-selling titles at Petaluma’s Copperfield’s Book Store, for the week of Feb. 4–11, 2018.

Though Petalumans discovered a few new favorites last week, no book seems likely to knock Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury” from its number one spot any time soon.” New to the list this week is Michael Connelly’s show business thriller “The Late Show” (coming in at Number Two) and Douglas Preston’s “The Lost City of the Monkey God” (Number Three), a non-fiction archaeological adventure set in the jungles of Eastern Honduras. Also new on the list is Sid Garza-Hillman’s “Raising Healthy Parents,” which the author will be reading from when he appears at Copperfield’s on Friday, Feb. 16. As for kids and young adults, “Timeless” - by Petaluma’s Armand Baltazar - moved back up to No. 1, showing no signs of diminishing in local popularity (in part because several Petaluma students were used as models for the book’s eye-popping illustrations). Notable arrivals on the list this week are Charles Schulz’s “Happy Valentine’s Day, Charlie Brown,” and Chelsea Clinton’s “She Persisted: 13 American Women Who Changed the World.”
