DINE & DONATE AT MARY’S – Benefit for Petaluma Youth Lacrosse

Tuesday, April 10 - All day long, from open to close

What’s happening? As a fundraiser for Petaluma Youth Lacrosse, 15% of all meal sales at the Petaluma East Mary’s Pizza Shack (when the flyer described below is presented along with your order) will go to support local lacrosse playing kids. The donations apply to meals served in the restaurant as well as take-out orders.

Who does it help? Petaluma Youth Lacrosse is a non-profit, all-volunteer sports organization created to teach lacrosse – currently among America’s fastest growing sports – to boys and girls, grades 1-8. Learn more at PetalumaYouthLacrosse.com.

SPRING OYSTER FEST AT BODEGA BAY OYSTER CO.– Petaluma Sunrise Rotary

Saturday, April 14, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

What’s happening? Petaluma’s Sunrise Rotary Club presents its annual Spring Oyster Fest, a big, bivalve-centric benefit and culinary extravaganza featuring raw and barbecues oysters from Tomales Bay’s Bodega Bay Oyster Company. Also on the menu are linguine with red clam sauce, Caesar salad, and dessert. Hen House brews and Adobe Road wines will be included with admission, and live music from Willow and Hound will take place throughout the afternoon.

Who does it help? All proceeds from the benefit will be used to fund a variety of Rotary projects. These include the Rotary Fire Relief Fund, 5th Tuesday food distributions, and Rotary teacher micro-grants.

What else should we know? This event, originally scheduled for April 7, has been postponed due to forecasts of rain. The fest takes place at Bodega Bay Oyster Company, 12830 Valley Ford Rd. This is an outdoor event, so dress appropriately. Tickets are $60, and available through the Sunrise Rotary website at PetalumaSunriseRotary.org.

THE BROADWAY BASH – Cinnabar Theater’s Young Rep Program

Saturday, April 14, 6 p.m.

What’s happening?

The 2nd Annual Cinnabar Young Rep Broadway Bash is a high class evening of food, drinks, and a two-act “Talent Showcase” featuring Young Rep students and their instructors performing favorite Broadway hits, on stage at the Carole L. Ellis Auditorium on the Petaluma SRJC campus. Broadway-themed auction items, beer and wine, snacks and sweets and more will be part of the fun.

Who does it help?

Cinnabar’s Young Rep program is the educational arm of Petaluma’s Cinnabar Theater Company. All proceeds from the Broadway Bash will go towards scholarships, new classes and camps, and new theater and technical equipment. To learn more, visit CinnabarTheater.org.
