Petaluma police are searching for a man who robbed a Chevron gas station at gunpoint on Petaluma Boulevard North on Sunday morning.|

Petaluma police are searching for a man who robbed a Chevron gas station at gunpoint on Petaluma Boulevard North on Sunday morning.

Around 11:30 a.m., the suspect entered the Chevron mini-mart, produced a black semi-automatic handgun and robbed the clerk of a small amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male with dreadlocks in his 30s or 40s. He wore a cloth over part of his face during the robbery.

The suspect fled the store moments later and could not be located. It is unknown whether he fled on foot or to a waiting vehicle. No one was injured during the robbery.
