Man arrested in Hotel Petaluma crash

A Petaluma man was arrested for suspected drunken driving early Thursday morning after he crashed into the front of the downtown Hotel Petaluma, police said.

Jason Hartnett, 29, was uninjured by the 2:43 a.m. crash at East Washington Boulevard and Kentucky Street, authorities said.

The impact damaged a window to the hotel office, which was closed, but no other injuries occurred, police said.

Hartnett was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Jail, where he was being held with bail of $5,000, jail personnel said.
