Grass fire scorches four acres in Petaluma

The flames didn't reach the house, officials said.

Cal Fire, Wilmar, U.S. Coast Guard and Rancho Adobe firefighters responded to the 9:15 a.m. fire. The last engines left the scene at 12:30 p.m.

A state forestry helicopter also responded.
